Postdoctoral Fellow

Núria is a postdoctoral fellow in the lab and a BBRF Young Investigator. She received her Ph.D. from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona under the supervision of Drs. Roser Nadal and Antonio Armario, where she studied animal models of PTSD. Nuria has a strong background in behavioural models of stress and is now investigating the role of corticoptropin hormone (CRH) neurons on stress controllability. She was previously funded through the UCalgary Eyes High Fellowship and Alberta Innovates-Health Solutions.
